In desperate need of help

I have a 2001 Malibu and I've done the off and on
for a minute with the anti-theft system as stated
from you guys now is no longer working and I just
change the ignition the assembly also I have a new
battery and I have changed the fuel filter and my
fuel pump I'm definitely sure it still okay I am so
getting gas I have actually sprayed underneath
starter fluid and got it to start for a second and
then it died with me of course pushing down on the
gas someone told me to look for the fuse for the
anti theft system in might have went bad and
needs to be replaced where's that located does
anyone know and if that's not a problem can
somebody please tell me what you think it might
be I'm a single mother with two children and
especially my family doesn't live around me I have
no one here that I can actually count on if I need a
way to go please help thank you

I haven't seen your previous questions or answers, but if you are having a problem with the anti-theft, it may be the sensor in the ignition switch has failed or is operating sporadically. If you have tried the key in the "on" position for 10-15 minutes (until the theft light goes out) and it started, but is now once again not working, then it would seem to indicate a fault in the ignition switch. Problems could be: sensor not detecting key; sensor wiring is frayed and only occasionally works; transponder chip in key has been damaged; Passlock system has lost its imprint to key. I'm sure there are other possible causes. If you can confirm problem is with Passlock, then a new ignition switch and programming may be in order.
