with 4 wheel engauged while driving it will turn on and off .

Can you be more specific, what are you driving on when it does this, ice, gravel, mud? How do you know it turns off? Does it bang when it comes back on? Does it do the same thing when it is in 4 low?

it happens when i give it alittle more gas, on all types of roads,yes it bangs light will also go off,

It sounds to me like a problem with the axle disconnect, if it does it in 4 hi and 4 low I would check the axle disconnect. You also may want to check your transfer case linkage.
