4 wheel drive works, but the light will not come on. 2004 1500 Dodge ram pick up

It may not be truly engaged or the sensor could be faulty. I would have it checked out before you cause some damage.
Truck engages into 4 wheel drive, but the light does not come on showing that it is in 4 wheel. Is there a fuse for this?
