battery wont stay up

my 2001 impala has new battery,and starter. if it sits one or two days without starting something pulls battery down have to put charger on it.then if we start it everyday without driving it stays up and starts on own.what is wrong cant trust going anywhere yet. please help

Parasitic drain. YouTube it and you will find your circuit. Fixing the circuit can be fun but at least you are closer. Aftermarket radio? This is the most common issue.

In some cases it is a faulty diode in the alternator. Do the test and see what you find.

how do I youtube iam not sure how to? we have a manual my husband bought any help there?

Get on a browser on your phone or computer and type YouTube. Go to the YouTube site. Once on site you type "parasitic drain". Watch a video or two and all you need is a voltmeter. There are a few different ways to do the test but you watch a few videos and see which one you like. The battery in your car has to be charged to start this.

Do you have any family or friends that could do this for you? Tell them you have a parasitic drain going on in your car and you need it tested to find the affected circuit.

you have really help us.my husband was a long time macanic with own shop he is 71 now and its harder I think . but he still normally can fix anything but this car is a headache.hes retired but willing.thank you and GodBless great site
