They sell a higher out-put unit, you may have the lower out-put unit. Sites like summit sell a 225 amp alternator, I have seen them at 110 amp and up. I actually have a 110 amp, (not using it with a plow) standard is 100 amp. Snow plows draw alot of power. I've never seen a truck that the headlights didn't dim a little when the plow is operated. If it s getting worse first thing that I would check is the connections. If that doesn't help then it could be the electric lift motor getting ready to take a dump on you. May can switch to CREE LED Headlights or install a Led light bar.

Would not hurt to up-grade your battery size to max size you can fit in it and battery terminals to higher quality and battery terminal wires to higher gauge wires with thicker insulation and make sure your grounds to frame and engine block are not degraded with corrosion/rust.

Although that pic above is for the pickup, IDK if there is a kit already for your model but do know of others who made their own dual alt set-ups so it can be done if you want it bad enough.

I plow snow and never have a problem. I would look for a higher output alternator and a bigger battery or dual battery set up. And S-10 is pretty small for plowing. How does that work out?
