Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 s 10.  I have had everything under the front end replaced, my
last step was inner and outer tie rods, Now while in reverse with the wheel cut
left or right, my front drive shaft is binding up and catching on the trnsmission
bell housing at the u joint.  It doesn't do it in forward or backing in a straight
line.  I just don't get it????

Here is the list, Upper ball joints and control arms, lower ball joints, both cv axles, pitman arm, idler arm, front hubs and hub bearing, vacuum actuator and cables and both switches, fork and spring in front diff, and last was the tie rods no problems with it binding up until now. And its all over the road when driving it, it drifts everywhere.

Update: I want to share the answer to this question just in case someone else has this issue...turns out my motor mounts and tranny mounts are bad and letting the motor move when in reverse and its dropped down onto the front differential. Getting new motor mounts and transmission mounts and slap them in then be back on the road. Yayyyy Love my truck
