Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my S-10 will bog down when I try and punch the gas. My inniva scanner says no stored data or freeze frame data either. It was running fine and then when my wife was coming home from work it started up a hill and start to bog down and if you let off the gas it seemed fine, but if you punched it tried to bog down real bad but did not quit.

Does your exhaust seem to have a rattle? When a cat. Plugs up it will do that. Try hitting your cat. If it makes a rattle sound bet that's your problem

I'm going from email and Cargurus, do you think the cat.converter is stopped up ??The cat thing confused me a bit.

Yes that exactly what I meant but I don't know how to spell it and neither does my phone :-) hence the "cat."
