Question type: General

I have a 1999 Chevy s10 and it has a miss fire I’ve changed the spark plugs
and plug wires along with coils and fuel filter and it’s still go a miss

It could be the cylinder itself or a fuel issue, further testing is required.

Compression test the misfiring cylinder. You might have a valve problem or worn out rings. Hope that helps! Jim

Ok, then compression test the number one cylinder. Check the fuel injector for the number one cylinder as well. It may be clogged or not spraying correctly. Hope that helps! Jim

Don't know if it has a distributor or not but if so try the ignition control module underneath distributor cap and if that don't work try replacing the distributor pickup coil which requires you to remove the distributor and completely disassembled it so it's cheaper to go online and buy brand new distributor because you can set the new distributor straight down in perfect time with the engine if you know what you're doing but replacing distributor pick-up coil you have to re-time that distributor with itself and then re-time it with the engine that's why it's cheaper to just buy a new distributor also it's unheard of but if it's one of the V6 the 2.8 or the 4.3 they sometimes jump time just enough to affect one cylinder but it's insanely rare
