Question type: Maintenance & Repair

tried replacing plugs, wires, fixed a wiring connection that was bad, seemed to work for a little bit. Now its back. Tried spraying engine compartment with a hose but it started right up every time. let it rain or get foggy, and it will not start til it dries out.  Any help?

When problem is ongoing, if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and injector pulse. Try to figure out what your missing, fuel--spark--whatever. Go from there.

Did you replace distributor cap and rotor ? Could be getting moisture under cap when weather is damp.

Yes, I know, but, I don't figure it's my job to correct other people. I try to give my answer and move on. Maybe I'm wrong, but, it wouldn't be the first time. I'm just an old-timer.

No a lot but not everything do not mind being corrected when I am wrong. Is that not how we learn different things.

My bad. Some people don't like being corrected? I haven't been here very long, I just try to leave everybody alone. Have a good day. I didn't mean for my post to sound grumpy, I hadn't had my morning coffee, yet.

No need to apologize but I do agree with you some people do not like to be corrected. Definitely not one of them like I said that is how you learn.
