Shifting

Asked by GuruT7P9Y Aug 19, 2018 at 06:00 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 2002 Chevy trailblazer it has a 2 Will Dr. automatic
4L60E transmission in it And I’ve been having a lot of
issues with it was shifting so I did what I was normally
supposed to do I replace the one and two shift solenoid
and I replace the three and four shift solenoid didn’t get
better So I bought a rebuild kit and rebuilt the
transmission put a new clutch packs in and I also
replaced the torque converter is well. Little to find out
when I put it all back together I did not change anything
it’ll go on the first gear but want to shift to second it goes
basically a neutral  stars to race in rpm.. Not sure what I
should do

Take a peak at this.....I had a very similar problem, was my throttle position sensor. Replaced my throttle body, fixed. TPS is integrated into the throttle body, cannot be removed. Try the link below, has helped a lot of us with this tranny. http://twincharlotte.com/blog/30-common-4l60e-transmission-problems-repair-charlotte-nc/
