04 Ford F150 FX4 5.4L Battery Indicator

I have a 04 Ford F150 FX4 5.4L after replacing my coil packs, and plugs I got a Battery Indicator light came on.  So, I changed the Alternator, knowing the battery was weak, so the regulator I assumed took out the Alternator regulator on the new Alternator and was over charging the battery at 14.4A and cooked the battery, so I invested in a new 875 CCA with 150 reserve and another Alternator and put it in.  Ran for a few minutes then the battery light came back on. Note I cleaned all lug connection at time of Battery install, and stuck now on what could be the issue at this point.

After install of the 2nd Alternator and Battery, I get around 13.3V and I wrote 14.4A which should have read 14.4V not Amps sorry. I have a little OBDII tester and ran a battery check on the system, and it states "Battery Good, and Charging Good", so not really sure why I am having the Battery Indicator stay on at this point.

Cost nothing to check. Off the positive side of the battery you should see two wires, maybe gray, running to the alternator. They may be gray in color covered with plastic or electrical tape. These are fusible links. unravel them and visually check that the link(s) are not blown. You can also disconnect them at both ends and use a multimeter to check continuity/resistance. If one link is blown or loose making bad contact, the battery can still be charged but the idiot light on the dash will come on.
