my impala head lighs turn on and off i check the fuses and everything seens fine and cant figure out the problem because my battery is dead now

had the same problem, both the harness plugs that plug into the low beam lamps were brown and had allot of corrosion causes high resistance, replace the headlight lamp plugs, I got mine from Napa for 20.00, had to cut and splice in the new ones took all of 30 min just make sure you shrink-wrap your butt splices. good luck
