Fuel Pump

Asked by ptwork Jan 18, 2015 at 02:15 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced the fuel pump and filter on an 02 cavalier and am getting no fuel at the injector
rail. So I took the the line of before the filter and getting no fuel at this point also. I
lowered the tank to make sure I did not pinch any lines when putting it back but this was
not the problem. And yes the pump is priming when you turn the key on.

I am being to think it might be a defective pump. The lines at the pump come connected and they are two different size connections on the other end you really cant switch them.
