why wont my blazer start in neutral or go in any gear except park after putting in a new tranny?

my last tranny pulled theawesome 4l60e problem died so i bought a new tranny but since
it got put it in now it wont go in any ger and wont start when its in neutral i put a new
neutral saftey switch and still nothing
