Burned clutch and now check engine light is on. What is wrong?

My little brother got my 97 ford f150
stuck in a hole and burned the clutch
really bad. It looked fine until i
started the engine an hour later and
the check engine light came on.
What is wrong with my truck? did
burning the clutch do this?

You'll have to get the code to see what the diagnostic is. Could be anything, not necessarily related to the burnt clutch. Post the code(s) back here and we can help you further if needed.
