Replaced the starter and alternator
within a week of each other and the
gauge still doesn't read 14 for the

Use a multimeter to check the charging voltage at the battery. Maybe the gauge is inaccurate.

What does it read? Does the car start? If not, what are the symptoms (doesn't crank, cranks but doesn't start, clicks heard when trying to start)?
