any info on trouble shooting lack of heat on a 86 K5 blazer?  I just replaced the thermostat with success.  Is it the heater core or is there something else I could try?

Are you sure that you ave completely bled the cooling system? There could be air trapped in the heater core assembly. Also, with the vehicle at operating temperature, check the temp of the heater hoses coming out of the heater core via the firewall pass through. If that doesnt point you in the right direction then it could be a multitude of other things. E.g. plugged radiator, weak water pump, plugged heater core, etc.
