F150 died

Asked by Brit2ps Oct 28, 2014 at 11:30 PM about the 1995 Ford F-150 XLT SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought this used and it died at my work. It cranks ok but won't fire up. I know it has
fuel, changed the fuse for the fuel pump. It has two tanks I am being told it's the switch
that may be at fault. When we tried to put fuel in the front it gushed out? I think it's the fuel
pump but it has two and it seems unlikely both would go. Any thoughts?

The fuel tank switch in that year had issues. It's possible that the switch is AFU and not letting gas to the engine.
