Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck died 15 minutes into driving it one day. and when i pulled over to restart it the rpms would not raise and
would die but i could hear it trying to go but it seemed like there was not enough gas getting to it. Also its fuel
injected what should i do?

check the fuel pressure on the rail and see if its got plenty of pressure. might have a pump going bad or fuel filter is dirty. 85 might have a messed up system with a pump in the tank and one outside the tank (not one of fords better ideas). so if one died you would probably have low pressure
