i've got a 1995 F-150 XL truck w/ dual tanks,w/ 300 straight-six motor,w/ 5-speed overdrive transmission,I'd like to know what size the tanks are???

I think the rear tank is about 10-12 gal & the gas gauge works on it,but I've no ideal what size the front tank is,& the sending unit goes wild when it gets switched over to the front tank.it goes all the way to the right,no matter how much is in it.i just got the truck recently.

You need to remove gas tank and inspect float system for bare or shorted wires. If noting obvious found, replace float system

thank yall very much for the quick reply & answer,but that much I already knew, what I was trying to find out is approx.what size are each of the fuel tanks on this truck???I've found out that the rear tank is approx. 13 gal. & the front tank is approx. 20 gal. for a total of 33-34 gal. on this particular model. thanks.have a good day.
