What is the best crate engine for most HP and still have least amount of modifications.

Been thinking and pricing crate engines for my F 150. Several engines look good to me but I want a good engine and trans combo w/ least amount of modifications to install them.

I would go on JEGS and get a 347 or 302. Easy to find transmissions for a decent price and HP!

Before you decide which way you want to go, check out your state emission regulations. Dropping a lot of cash, then failing state tests can be a heart breaker.
