2003 chevy venture

Asked by Renee Jul 15, 2017 at 09:49 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Venture LS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This may be long. No idea where else to turn, need
advice. I have a 2003 Chevy Venture mini van 3.4
motor. About a month ago I was driving it and it
started acting like it wanted to stall then kept
bucking is the easiest way to explain it. It then
eventually stalled out and I was able to restart it
and drive a couple feet before it stalled again and
would not restart. Then after talking to a few
people I was told possibly my fuel pump so we
changed that then it started ran like poo then
stalled and we were told to change the throttle
position sensor. Car seemed to run fine. We live in
a trailer park and so I drove it around and we
deemed that it would be ok to drive to work the
next day. The next morning the car started and
seemed to drive ok then it stalled. I restarted it and
finished my 5 minute drive to work. I was driving
home and the car stalled about 5 times I kept
restarting it and driving. I was trying to make it
home. Had to call another tow truck. Was told to
try my fuel filter. We did that and again Van drove
fine. Next morning I only made it 4 trailers away it
stalled so I returned it home. All this time the only
error codes have been Evap codes  So upon doing
research we changed the Purge solenoid and the
vent solenoid. Car had been driving fine drove to
and from work and around the park. So I drove it
about 5 miles down the road Made it to lakeside
fine but on the way home it started bucking again
and stalled a couple of times. As of today the error
code is PO141 Any ideas where to turn from here.

Sounds like my car. 2 wires in the harness went bad. Purple and yellow from the ignition control module to crank sensor.
