Truck not starting

I have a 1991 ford 5.0 and it has a problem hot
starting it only does it sometimes but I replaced
starter battery starter solenoid and made sure the
timeing was on whenever I drive it around and then
shut it off it turns over but doesn't fire up until I put
gas in the intake hose any thoughts? Thanks in
advance

If it is firing up when you put gas into the intake, then you have a fuel issue. Start by checking fuel pressure, may be a bad fuel pump. fuel regulator, or dirty fuel filter.
