i replaced my rear shocks on my 2003 chevy cavalier, should an alignment be needed??
Any time you mess with the suspension, the alignment should be checked, especially if you have good tires on the vehicle.
The shocks are a strut assembly, so they will change the dynamics of the rear suspension. It would be wise to have the alignment checked.
Shocks do not need an alignment, but struts do.
This vehicle has struts Bob, my friend, or I wouldn't have mentioned it. I see my wording was not that good.
Your wording was fine. I was just putting information out there.
