2002 F-250 Brake pedal intermitently engages starter when key is on or off, motor running or not. Any suggestions?

I think there is a wiring problem. Possibly a short in the steering column.

I believe you are correct, but I was more interested in where the break wire would contact the starter wire. In the starter module? Or at the starter relay.?
