turn signal would not turn off

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a 1992 MBZ 300 E. Car runs great, has 230,000 miles on it. 2 weeks
ago the left turn signal turned on and would not go off. I also notice that a light
on the dash board indicating a lighting problem turned on but all my lights are
working well. Please tell me how to fix my problem

If I understand the question correctly, you have a nub in the steering column that hits the turn signal and disengages it. That nub has likely broken off.
