Turn signal

Asked by Jul 04, 2017 at 07:36 PM about the 1995 Toyota T100 2 Dr SR5 4WD Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Every so often when I use my turn signal,
the opposite side flashes (dimly) as well.
Is this a switch problem or a wiring issue?
The multI function switch is expensive. I'm
hoping it's something simple. It only
happens about 50% of the time.

Grounds are a big issue with these, check all the grounds on both front and rear turn/tail and turn/ marker lights in the front, if that all checks good then you know what is next.

Ohh and don't forget to check the sockets too, you might see a little burn mark where the ground wire hooks in, if you find ant like that replace the socket.

I will check those thanks!
