My 1993 T100 began to not turn over unless I pushed up on the gear shift lever while turning the key. Now it wont turn over at all. What is this?

The shift selector has a switch that wont allow it to start in gear try it in n may work then but will have to replace the switch

The Range Switch may be at fault. It may not be telling the PCM that the vehicle is in PARK or NEUTRAL. The fix is to R & R the Range Switch
