where is the power steering pump inline filter located of a 2005 chevy impala?

pump is leaking just a little. however a lot of the fluid is still in the tank. after it runs there is perssure built up and the fliud is like a froth, and is difficult to steer, with the typical bad pump sound.......... I am replaceing the pump, and the recomended filter. I just cant seem to find the original one? Am I just blind? LOL

have you looked over all the lines that come out of the pump if you post some pictures of the engine and oump line I can help u find it

I haven't completely removed the pump yet. Had to stop due to an appointment that I have to get ready for. however I will get some pictures as soon as I get it out. Thanks for the quick reply.
