Why are search reults different on laptop?

Why do I get different search results for the same search criteria done at the same time on different computers?

I performed a search on my pc and saved some listings. I wanted to take my search with me so I opened my laptop and went to the site but my saved listings were not there. So I performed the same search with the same criteria/filters and the listings shown on my pc were not available on my laptop.

I don't understand that.
