Only VSC light on for 2006 Rav4

Asked by GuruCD9B Apr 11, 2017 at 11:58 PM about the 2006 Toyota RAV4 Base AWD

Question type: General

Why is the VSC light constantly on? Took it to the local mechanic and the
person used the computer scan to see whats wrong. Everything seems to be
fine. Checked the gas cap. Don't know why is only the VSC light on?

VSC (Vehicle Stability/Skid Control) is a warning that something is not working in your anti-skid control. This could have something to do with either the brake system itself or the sensors that detect the wheel movement. It would be good to have a trusted mechanic inspect and recommend any repairs.
