Trunk release button on 2005 Toyota Echo doesn't work

When I pull the trunk release button, nothing happens

These are usually a cable operated item, so check that you have the cable connected at the lever, and then trace the cable back to the trunk and make sure that the cable is attached at the trunk as well. Hope this helps.
