Toyota camry 01 turning over but not starting

Asked by Johnnyfivegreen Jul 16, 2019 at 02:34 PM about the 2001 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 01 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder the
exhaust was rusted through and broke
loose ripping the O2 sensor wires. At the
same exact time the O2 sensor was
pulled loose the car quit running and now
when I try to restart it it turns over but
won't start I checked the timing belt
seems to be connected all fuses are still
good just wondering if there's other wires
that run by the O2 sensor that would
cause the car not to start or any other
things that you could think of please let
me know thank you.

The O2 sensor along with the mass air flow sensors control air to fuel ratios. If your air to fuel ratios are off the car will either run poorly, turn off, or not start at all.
