How does a driveshaft on a 1994 Toyota camry LE wagon come completely unattached from transmission?.. all bolts gone

My 94 camry stopped moving one day. while driving it home, a loud thud. I look under and the drive shaft or axle that goes from the transmission to the driver side front wheel is completely off.
Sabotage?? ....All bolts completely missing!
I love on a windy road if that means anything. actually most the roads out here have heavy curves. why would all 6 bolts be gone.

What is the repair history on this vehicle. Had the oil changes recently?
