Hard start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has been to two separate mechanics because of a hard start. On both
occasions a major service was done. Specific instructions were give to them to
look into the hard start problem. The last mechanic had cleaned the
injectors,throttle body, replaced all filters, put in a new fuel pump and flushed
out engine and radiator. Still the problem persists. Please help!

Hi Stephen, any update on this? funny enough i had the same problem on my 2008 camry.. changed the fuel pumps, filter, cleaned the throttle body and injectors...however, it would still present a hard start on most mornings or after its left to rest for a couple of hours... What i proceeded to do as a last resort was to change my battery (which seemed perfectly fine at the time) and vooala.. the problem was completly solved. It now starts like a dream... give it a try
