Engine disabled/making noise from the engine

Hi,i have 1992 Toyota Camry v6 LE,i have engine
oil leakage problem,yesterday when I driving on
Freeway suddenly I heard some "tak tak" noise
from the engine,i stopped the car and I towed up to
near by service center,they said that your engine oil
is bone dry you drove with out oil so you need to
replace the engine because the engine condition is
not at all good,so please be help me out,if we drive
with out engine oil for 5-6 miles distance for that
we need t change the entire engine?? If we change
the engine for my car how much I need to spend
for that?after replacing used engine again I need to
face the same problem?

Yes, 5 miles without oil destroys an engine. Check into a lower mileage salvage engine the most economical method to repair the '92 Toyota. Do NOT drive / run an engine without oil I don't recommend this..so you will not face the problem again. Really a 92 Camry is not worthy of being repaired.

Since you stopped the engine before any damage was done should be able to fix oil leak and put correct amount of oil in engine and should be good to go. If engine still has tap after fixing leak add some Lucas Engine Oil Stablizer to oil tap should go away at least it did for me when I had a engine tap.

"Tac Tac" noise and no engine oil is not good. It is very possible that your engine is shot. A 1992 Camry with a bad engine needs to be crushed.
