2006 hhr reset battery and alternator

i have replaced alternator and battery. battery light wont go off

Computer glitch or wiring issues. I have seen computers just stop turning on the charging circuits, sometimes a re-flash will work other times it takes a new computer.

Likely a defective alternator, especially if you got a rebuilt or a reconditioned one. Remove it and bench-test it. Then buy new or remanufactured to be safe.
