Muffler flange bolt size?

Asked by vultage Dec 22, 2014 at 12:49 PM about the 2001 Subaru Outback Limited Wagon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am going to be replacing my muffler. Looking at the muffler flange, it looks like the
easiest way for me to remove the rusted to hell bolts, is going to be to sawzall the 2 bolts
off, and replace with new ones. Does anyone know off-hand what size these nuts and
bolts will be, so I can pick them up, before starting the project?

I like impact wrenches. It either takes the nut off or snaps it. :)
