Back light doesn't turn on

The left side of my back light doesn't turn
on. I had replaced the light bulb but it still
doesn't turn on.

is it all out parking/running / brake light? is there 12 volts to the socket? clean/check power / for a good ground.....

Yea they're all out and I have not checked the socket, I don't know how to check it
