Does a 2006 Chevy Colbalt need a keyless entry lock to reset itself to start?
Replaced the starter, charged the battery, still will not start.

YOU DON'T NEED A KEYLESS. BUT YOU DO NEED THE KEY WITH THE CHIP IN IT. THE CAR CRANKS BUT WON,T START ///THE CHIP IN THE KEY COULD HAVE WENT BAD OR YOUR KEY READER.. YOU CAN TAKE YOUR KEY TO A DEALER TO SEE IF IT READS A CODE....GETTING YOUR KEYS WET OR OIL CAN MAKE A CHIP GO BAD ..HOPE THIS HELPS
Replaced the starter, charged the battery, still will not start.
