93 subaru legacy no start

Asked by GuruW3R68 Jun 04, 2018 at 12:02 AM about the 1993 Subaru Legacy L Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 93 subaru legacy has a new alternator, new
battery, and new starter, but will not start. It makes
an odd sound, but doesn't fire. Before parts
replaced it was started and moved from my
driveway to the street and it died and wouldn't
restart. Tried to jump ot without luck. The digging
sound wold be on when you hot it, but then
wouldn't make a noise. This is when we replaced
the battery which was bad and then the starter
which tested weak upon taking it to auto parts
store. Now when |ou try to start it there is an odd
sound, but no true turn over or fire. Please help, I'm
not sure what else it could be.

Water temp sensor under rear of throttle body? Has one wire, hex mount...like a spark plug.
