Howdy, didn't know if you got your answer yet but here it is if you can use it. It took 4 car salesmen to get mine off at the dealership when I bought it but after they completed the job and I watched them, its not too bad. There are several star headed screws scattered about the cabin that need to come out. Start with the two located on the windshield header at each corner. That is the correct size tool for all the others. All screws must be completely removed, not just loosened. There are about 5 to 6 of the same star headed screws on each side of the top. Note that even though they are all the same head, they are different lengths so annotate where they go for future use. There is also a heavy bracket at the bottom of each side of the top. Its a separate piece and has bolts on both the top and bottom that need to come out. After all the bolts are removed, it disconnects like the soft top; the two handles on the windshield and the pull handle under the back cover. The top is pretty heavy so have at least one strong helper to get it off. Good luck and enjoy. As a side note, mine had a sealer like clear tape on the body where the base of the hardtop fits. That needs to STAY ON so the top will reseal for winter.
