Swapping damaged non turbo - manual with a turbo engine manual.

My T/belt snapped destroying my engine at
245,000 miles. I want to put in a Subaru turbo
engine. Please advice.

Well if your willing to spend that money: 10k or more. I’d recommend the same year but turbo. Or a ej207 which I believe is the Sti motor. You will need to modify exhaust with a sti exhaust and wire harness. Also a new engine controll module. Realistically I’d get rid of it you’re gonna put lots of money into it and you can get a turbo forester for cheaper.

Advice is to not do it. Scrap your car and buy a WRX or other turbo Subie.
