Will a top post battery fit in my 1990 C4 Corvette

My side post battery went dead, but also had an issue with (+ and -)
battery bolts being loose. I am interested if a top post battery will fit.

It may fit but you will have to change the battery cables. If mine I would stick with the side posts and also change your side post cables out for new ones. Have a side post battery in my 85 camaro and also had issues with the bolts staying tight. But after replacing my cables with new they stayed tight as they should.

I think I resolved this issue. I bought a new Speed Start 650 CCA battery, low profile, and converted side post cable to top post. The battery was just a tad big for the battery box, but we secured it with a stabilizer bracket to the rear hold down bolt. Clearance was good.
