Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is their any difference in the 6cy and 8cy exhaust
for a 2006 Pontiac grand prix?  I put in the 5.3L v8
for engine type when searching for exhaust
systems and the results almost always have the
3.8L v6 in the descriptions.

NO. The exhaust routes the same underneath the car, so the V6 exhaust will fit it.
