Limp mode

06 Grand Prix that is sort of stuck in
limp mode It won’t accelerate past
3000 RPM it won’t go over 50 miles
an hour and going up slopes with the
pedal to the floor it has no power and
I mind boggled over what it could be
if you guys have any suggestions
could you please let me know
because this is the second notice
than the same thing thank you in
advance

Could not be in limp mode. Instead, have your catalytic converter examined to determine if it is failing and blocking the flow of exhaust.

If you're recieving a reduce engine power message on the dash that's usually a throttle body problem had the same problem 06 grand prix base model ordered a Hitachi replacement throttle body off amazon been running fine ever since make sure the kit comes with the necessary gaskets and make sure you have enough mechanic experience before attempting a diy install its a bit of a pia if i remember correctly not to bad though
