I have a 2008 grand prix v6. Just last week got reduced engine power message and the check engine light came on. by Saturday when i went to get the code scanned the check engine light was no longer on and no engine problems. Today on the way to pick up my son it happend again, luckily was close to a auto part store that offered free scanns.,
Got the error codes as follows:
P1125
P1516
and
P2138

and where exactly is the sensor located on the vehicle

It's something to do with your drive by wire system. Judging by all three codes that appeared it may be the module, or some type of interference between it all. All this technology B.S, if they would have just put a normal steel cable between your right foot and the throttle you wouldn't be having this problem.
