2004 Pontiac Grand Prix only blowing cold air when heater is on

I have a 2004 Pontiac grand prix , I blew a head gasket and had it repaired.
Since then the heater was only blowing slightly hot air and now it only blows
cold air. The coolant level id good and the car temp never goes over the half
way point. Any suggestions?

Flush the heater core out. Did you try radiator stop leak prior to getting the gasket fixed? It's probably plugged. Make sure it is bled properly as well, I usually pop off one of the hoses coming from the engine to the core just to verify coolant is circulating through it. And to bleed the air from the system.

The mechanic I went to already did a full flush and bled the lines. It has now worked right since. He now says it might be the thermostat?
