Electrical problems

Asked by Michael May 31, 2015 at 02:33 AM about the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Dome lights wont turn on when car turns
off. Radio turns of completely without
opening the door. And power locks wont
work when the cars off or on. Same goes
for lights. We tried replacing Ignition switch
with a new one. Didn't solve it. But on some
occasions it would decide to all work again.
If I'm right either computers old. Wires are
fried or loose. Or some other problem help
please

Having some of the same problems. Check the BCM, thats what I have narrowed mine down to. Its under the dash on the left outside wall. Big box with two plugs.

My inside lights won’t turn off. I put a new battery in it because it needed one and they just won’t shut off, with the doors closed and locked, with the car off, they just won’t shut off. Help!! 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix
