Cooling System Fans

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just purchased this used car. The seller told me he put a coolant level sensor in it, it has plenty of
clean coolant. Not sure of the thermostat condition... Neither of the 2 fans are kicking on when
needed, ran the car up to apprx. 225 deg. by the dash reading. Checked the fuses under the hood.
Went to AutoZone, no diagnostic codes as far as what they could tell me....Suggestions please on
what to look at next ??? Thank You.

level sensor who needs it ? check it under the hood at the radiator cap, check part store for coolant temp sensor or any sensor for engine temp, hot wire the fan to bypass the relay and fuse see that electric motors run
